History

Spruce Creek began life as a Navy airstrip. It is now the largest private airpark in the United States, a 1,140-acre gated community, located seven miles south  of Daytona International Airport, with about 4,500 residents and close to 650 aircraft. There are some 1,600 buildings, including residences, hangars, and commercial space.  This well known prestigious Residential Airpark offers 4,000’ lighted runway, GPS approach, has a Golf Course, Country Club, on airport restaurant, hair salon, and 24-hr patrolled security.

Hawks Nest condo hangar homes were built between 1998-2002 as single family homes of 2 units per building sharing a common hangar wall.  Hawk’s Nest condos are concrete block/stucco construction with large porches or screened lanais. They offer  2-, 3- and 4-bedrooms in 1- or 2-story configuration with cathedral ceilings, attached hangars, and two car garages.  They are conveniently located off Cessna Blvd.
